We are now telling your participants to work on their assessments! We will send them out H-3 and H-1 before the end date as a reminder.

Whiteboarding #

We ended up separating whiteboard capabilities from interview aids based on numerous requests from our technical users.

UX Enhancement #

We refined user experience that elevates your interactions. Mostly what we do:

• We’ve cleaned up the clutter
• Added comprehensive explanations and tooltips
• Restructured the assessment environment for a seamless experience on the participant side. This streamlined approach ensures the participants focus on tasks effortlessly while benefiting from an informative, efficient, and visually pleasing interface.

Proctoring solution #

We now have a better proctoring solution. Now we’re flagging participant copy activity and IP addresses.

Performance Boost, Bug Fixes, and Stability Enhancements #

Algobash 2.0 hold a better and faster performance than 1.0 — especially in the assessment environment.

What’s Gone #

There’re some limitations that we implement on our side now.

• We remove multiple questions on SQL, Coding logic, Backend, Frontend, Essays, Interviews, and Spreadsheet tests. We saw a low submission rate or high human errors when the assessment contains multiple questions in one module. Don’t worry, you can always use your existing modules! But you can no longer create one on Algobash 2.0.
• The interview is now only focusing on interviews. We separate Interview and whiteboarding functionality.
• Multiple choices and weighted score choices are now joined as 1 type.
• We remove the Start date on the assessment configuration.
• Edit assessment modules are now prohibited. Make sure you’re checking everything before publishing your test.
• Algobash modules can no longer be modified.

What’s Ongoing #

Some enhancements are still in progress:

• We’re revamping our Project Based test. It’s going to be awesome!
• Enhancing our proctoring solutions.
• More features coming soon

How to Upgrade to Algobash 2.0 #

The upgrade process is hassle-free. Simply visit our new platform domain – no specific steps required.

For our current clients, there will be no additional cost associated with accessing Algobash 2.0. By the end of September 2023, we will have completed the full transition to 2.0 (rest assured, we’ll keep you informed!). There will be a pricing adjustment in the future once 2.0 is fully implemented.

And for all the participants, we’re now utilizing Algobash 2.0 for all new invitations.
