What is an Email Template? #

To simplify the process of sending exam invitation emails, we created an email template. Email templates can be selected when giving an exam.

By default, we have provided a default email template that can be directly used without changing anything. However, you can add several other email template variations with the “+ New Template” button.

Can I edit the Default template? #

Of course! But we strongly recommend you create another template just to keep the default as a reference.

How to add a new template? #

  1. Click the “+ New Template” button to get started.
  2. You’ll be presented with a form to complete:
    • Template name
    • Select a language
      You have the option to choose between English or Bahasa Indonesia. This choice will impact all email elements in the invitation, including our default footer.
    • Email Subject
    • Email Content
      This is where you can style the body of the email, add documents, insert images, and more. However, please be aware that including numerous links and files may increase the likelihood of our emails being categorized as spam or ending up in the promotions folder. We recommend keeping the content concise, clear, and engaging.
    • BCC Email
      This functions as a notification to the team included in this template. The email attached to this template would receive any emails the participant received from Algobash. Participants typically receive two emails: an email invitation and an email confirming test submission.
      Maximum 2 emails to include here.
  3. Click “Save” to save the template, or “Preview” to preview the email.

What would the email look like? #

Here’s what the email would look like. (1) your subject and (2) your body email. Everything else is generated by Algobash.

Can I put dynamic content on the email subject or body? #

Absolutely! We offer an ‘Email Tagging’ option that lets you incorporate the assessment title, participant’s name, and/or email. This dynamic feature ensures that the content changes dynamically based on the information you’ve input for the assessment.

Test Instructions #

What is the Test Instructions Template? #

Test instruction is used as a quick notes from you before the participant proceeds with the assessment.

What and where the test instruction will appear on the participant side.

By default, we have provided a default instruction template that can be directly used without changing anything. However, you can add several other email template variations with the “+ New Template” button.
