Create an Assessment In Algobash 2.0

How do I initiate a new assessment? #

The process differs significantly between Algobash 1.0 and Algobash 2.0.

To begin crafting an assessment, you will be automatically directed to the Modules page. Like this:

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to create and assign an assessment:

Assessment Name And Deadline #

  1. Assessment title IMPORTANT
Initially, we will populate it with the title “Untitled Test” by default.
You can modify this later if you decide to make changes.
  2. Deadline date IMPORTANT
By default, the test is assigned without a deadline date. However, if you want to adjust this, you can set a specific date. The end time’s cutoff is at 00:00.
Once the assessment reaches the deadline date, it will become inactive. At this point, you won’t be able to send email invitations or receive any submissions.
You can modify this later if you decide to make changes.

Modules VERY IMPORTANT #

You can select a maximum of 6 modules for each assessment. Just click the ‘+’ button next to the available modules to add them. If you want to remove a module, click the ‘x’ button on the module list.

Please ensure that all your modules are accurately assigned, as Algobash 2.0 does not allow changes related to module lists and configurations once finalized.

Additional Configurations #

In programming logic tests, you have the option to exclude programming languages that you do not want participants to use.

In the multiple choices, you have the option to randomize the choice order and question order.

Remember that once all the modules are configured, you won't have the ability to make changes.

Configurations #

Lastly, you can refine the configurations of your test. This includes setting up proctoring solutions and creating templates for email invitations.

Click “Save” to publish your assessment.

Are Changes Allowed After Configurations are Set? #

Name, deadline, and configurations can be changed after creation, but modules cannot be changed. It’s crucial to thoroughly review and confirm the settings before proceeding.
